Luxury peels by Dermaceutic

Dermaceutic was founded in 2002 on the strong belief that science is the skin’s natural ally. They use the best scientific expertise to strengthen and support the skin’s natural powers, for faster and more effective results. Born from a collaboration between French dermatologists, Dermaceutic is now the number one chemical peel brand in France, and has brought its art of formulation to the cosmeceutical industry.

They are one of the first laboratories to develop cosmeceuticals using ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, vitamin C complex, retinol and glycolic acid (now standard ingredients in skincare). Dermaceutic offers a wide range of cosmetics and gentle peels to care for your skin without harming it.

How does the treatment work?

Like other peels, a superficial peel is a type of beauty treatment that aims to repair and beautify the skin. In concrete terms, the superficial peel works by applying a chemical agent to a part of the skin, for example the face. Unlike a deep peel, this peel only acts on the surface of the skin, for example the epidermis. This treatment targets and destroys certain structures of the skin to provoke its regeneration. The targeted layer is then renewed and becomes more elastic and rid of all skin impurities. It is a skin treatment that can treat many imperfections, such as actinic keratosis, acne, and fine lines.

What results can you expect?

A surface peel is a very effective way to restore healthy, rejuvenated skin. Like other forms of peeling, it acts directly on the skin to give it back its original radiance. Thus, it is used in the treatment of many skin imperfections. These peels can reduce fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, pigment spots and other imperfections. It is a treatment that acts as an exfoliator by removing dead skin cells, which promotes the production of softer, smoother, more beautiful new skin.

For who are these treatments?

If you struggle with skin imperfections such as wrinkles, stretch marks, pigment spots and bumps on your skin (keratosis pilaris) a Dermaceutic peel is an excellent option. The peel will not only work on reducing these skin imperfections, it will also leave you with a radiant glow.

Which peel is right for me?

Depending on the type of pigmentary imperfection to be treated, you can choose from several superficial peels. Each product has a specific application, so our skin experts will advise you on the perfect treatment plan for your skin.

A superficial peel to reduce keratosis pilaris

Keratosis pilaris is a benign dermatosis that is similar to goose bumps. Small spots or bumps appear on the surface of the skin, often on the upper arms, due to an excessive production of keratin from the hair follicles. Keratosis pilaris can be treated with a superficial peel by applying a chemical agent to the affected area.

The ingredients we use

Dermaceutic's dermatologists have developed professional superficial peels by selecting the most effective chemical agents so that you can obtain fast and convincing results. This is why the superficial peels contain different ingredients, depending on their use and the depth of their application:

  • Glycolic acid, which stimulates cell regeneration and skin purification.

  • Salicylic acid, which has a keratolytic effect (destroys keratin).

  • Bentonite, a clay known for its purification and toxin absorption capacities.

  • But also vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, allantoin and many other carefully studied ingredients.
